Pilates is gymnastics based exercise.
Exercise reduces systemic inflammation and pain, releases endorphins and boosts your mood thus improving your mental health. It promotes tissue remodeling, and builds expectation of recovery, which enables you to partaken or return to valued activities.
Exercise plays a vital role in building strength, resilience, and is recommended by the Australian government for every age and stage of life, including chronic pain, injury rehabilitation, ante-natal, post-natal, gerontology, oncology, osteoporosis, neurological, mental health issues, inflammatory and autoimmune conditions.
